Configuring Advanced Glazing Bar Designs

1. Example - Offset glazing bars

a. Select a glazing section - Then click the glazingbar button 



b. Select the design -
Select the 3x3 design, even if the panes of glass are uneven


c. Change the offsets for the glazing bars -
For example, when each glazing bar is 250mm from the edge, select the left glazing bar and change offset left to 250mm


d. Select the top glazing bar
- Change offset top to 250mm. Repeat process for any remaining bars

     

    2. Example - Partial glazing bars

    a. Select glazing for the top sash - Select the 5x4 design, then click the glazingbar button



    b. Edit glazing details - In property editor for glazing details, click the edit button next to partial GB


    c. Remove or add glazing bars
    - In the partial glazing bar window, click any section of glazing bar to remove it, click again to re-add it, click OK

    Note: All partial glazing bars must start at the edge of the sash and join on to a full length glazing bar. Any design not supported by the system will be highlighted in red.

     



    d. Select glazing for the bottom section -
    Select the 5x3 design, then click the glazingbar button

    e. Edit the design - Click edit next to partial GB, remove the middle row vertical sections, click OK
