Drawing an Arched Outer Jamb

Navigate to settings, then organisation, then DrawingBoard, for frame display settings for sash windows.

1. Select the sash window
On the DrawingBoard, click the Top Sash (or whatever sash you want to add an arched outer jamb to) within the explorer on the right-hand side of the screen, or click it on the drawing.

2. Curve the frame
Tick the arch head option to view arch radius, arch height, and shoulder height properties.

Adjust the values in the newly displayed input fields. In the example below, height is set to 400mm. When a value is entered for either radius or height, the corresponding arch will be visualised on the DrawingBoard.

Note: When one value is entered, the other will be automatically calculated by the software. where Arch Radius = (Height / 2) + (Width² / (8 × Height))

3. Curve the frame
Tick the Arched outer jamb option, This will cause the outer frame to follow the shape of the arch
