Missing Drawings on Quote PDF

Find out what steps to take when everything is displayed correctly on the quote preview or quote PDF, except the window diagrams.

1. If the quote is published
If the quote is already published and the drawings are missing from the PDF, first copy the published quote as a new open quote using the button on the matrix page.


2. If the quote is not published
If the quote is not yet published and the problem is with the quote preview PDF, go to the next step.


3. Regenerate the quote preview
On an open (unpublished) quote, click update drawings, then regenerate the quote preview PDF. 



4. When the issue persists
Open each of the affected drawings and re-save them. Make the save button visible by making any change to the drawings, then reversing it.  For example, toggle the PAS 24 setting on and then off again. Regenerate the quote preview.

Alternatively, go to the quote overview page and rebuild the quote. In the open quote menu in the top right, remove all drawings from the quote and click update. Add the drawings back in, click update again. Return to the matrix page, click update drawings, regenerate the quote preview.

 

6. If the drawings are still missing from the PDF
Note the selected layout in the matrix page.


Navigate to quote settings, then layout editor, edit the relevant layout.

 


Edit the drawing default view property, ensure visibility is set to show.
